Diving for a Cause: ProDive’s Commitment to Ocean Clean-Ups
As a certified PADI Eco Center and proud member of Green Fins, we are committed to preserving marine ecosystems by organizing regular Reef and Beach Clean Up events throughout the year. Our oceans are some of the most breathtaking and biodiverse ecosystems on the planet, yet they face increasing threats from pollution. From coral reefs teeming with marine life to serene stretches of sandy beach, these natural treasures are essential for the health of our planet, and they need our help.
Our dive center’s reef and beach clean-ups are gaining momentum and making a real difference in the local marine environment. With each clean-up, we’re not only removing harmful debris from our reefs and shorelines but also raising awareness about ocean conservation. During these events, our team of divers collects marine debris from Red Bait Reef and we meticulously sort, record, and submit data on the types and quantities of debris to Project AWARE’s Dive Against Debris database. This information contributes to global research and advocacy efforts aimed at reducing ocean pollution.
We regularly organize beach and reef clean-up initiatives throughout the year – helping keep our shores and oceans thriving for future generations.
